Under the direction of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, the Australian Federal Government is seeking to pass a bill that will effectively censor free speech on digital platforms for much of the Australian public. Presented as an essential measure to protect vulnerable Australians from the “harm” of disinformation and misinformation, this bill has the potential to achieve the opposite, and put ordinary Australians in harms way.
After the unveiling of my unconscious and a revelation of the darkness within, I now view the world through a lens of integrated shadow. By encountering the evil within myself, I see the evil lurking in all of mankind and its agendas more easily.
Living in this post-apocalyptic world is not what I imagined it would be. Naively, I’d imagined a global cataclysmic event that only a few people would survive, and that the world as a result would be mostly unrecognisable from the ravages of the destructive forces. This dystopian fantasy of mine was a gross miscalculation of the real-world scenario that is unfolding before us. Yet still, it’s an approximation that falls within the realms of future possibility.
